Birdsnest coral is a small polyp stony (SPS) coral. Birdsnest has delicate thin branches which form round or needle tips. The coral grows into a tangled “birdnest” like form. Birdnest have various colours like green, purple or pink in colour. Neon green polyps or purple polyps. They are considered a beginner coral for hobbyists starting their journey to keeping SPS corals. The coral is fast growing and adds bright colours to your reef tank. You will need a stable system to care for this coral and should avoid fluctuations in parameters for coral health.
